My work requires me to wear suits everyday which cost me a fortune to launder. Can I claim the purchase and laundering?

Work clothes can only be claimed if they are logo’d, protective or occupation specific. If your suits don’t have a logo then we aren’t able to claim either of the expenses relating to it.
Occupation specific clothing, although broad sounding, can be limiting so make sure you ask whether or not you can make a claim when we prepare your tax return.
